Helena Eflerova

I have substantial career in durational works producing and delivering performances since 2004. I have delivered series of durational performances that last anything between 3hrs and longer than 12months. I am exploring the connections between ourselves, gender, consciousness, landscape, site, place, time and seasons. I have exhibited and performed internationally in Argentina, Brazil, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and Spain. My art practice and research explores the fusion of underwater live performance, video installation and human prenatal theories by combining five disciplines: Live Art, Butoh, Prenatal/Peri-natal Psychology, Bio-science and Apnea. I am qualified to Masters in Fine Art (MA) at Winchester School of Art, 2009. I have trained through intensive courses in the UK and abroad. I lead regular CI sessions in South of UK.
